Piano rhodes wurly
I installed 1.52..and I installed the factory presets again ... Sorry for the outburst but I can not find any sounds that make me happy ... Acoustic piano rhodes and wurly .... Someone help me and tell me what it uses and how to equalize the sound .. Rock genre blues but also funk .... I'm demoralized by this ns 3 ... maybe I should install the old software ... Before I did not seem so bad these sounds ..

Re: Piano rhodes wurly
For the Rhodes, try these settings:
KBD TOUCH: 1
TREM: Rate=4.5, Amount=2.8
CHOR1: Rate=5.0, Amount=3.4
EQ: Treble=+5, Mid Freq=470Hz, Mid=-9.8, Bass=-5.0
REVERB: Room2, Amount=3.0

Re: Piano rhodes wurly
Go to the uprights man. With a little eq (not only the over piano eq sessiom but the main one), take the soft release (useless) of and add a fake a release with a low short time with a taste of feedback, then add a little of a high off room 1 reverb.
Remember, eq session seems to work in together, so maybe add some high MID is better than add HIGH itself.
Put the ressonance at max 6db.
I don't like, but if you do, use some compressor fast mode.

For a Wurly, I like the "Wurlitzer 2 Amped", found here: https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... er-2-amped

@leonardo1- what are you using for amplification? Stereo or mono? If you’re not running a decent pair of stereo monitors, you likely won’t be thrilled with the pianos. I’m using a pair of JBl 305p MKII monotors. Less than $300 (U.S.) for a pair. I run my pianos with only a bit of reverb and they sound great to me. Check out the Accessories and Amplification section for ideas/options.
I use the EQ and effects on APs only when I want to mimic a specific sound in a song for my cover band. I can usually find a very good setting for a Rhodes/Wurli to fit most any song (earlier Hall and Oates is still challenging).
Also, you want to make sure your monitors are as accurate as possible so you know what you’re sending to front-of-house (FOH). Think of it this way: if you EQ your keyboards at home to sound best with inaccurate monitors, then when you are playing out, the sound crew will will assume what you’re sending to FOH is the sound you want, but it won’t be.

Re: Piano rhodes wurly
+1 on the JBLs for great value studio amplification. I have a pair of LSR 305s, I guess they're MkI, not sure what the MkII version adds but I love mine. Great for organs and EPs, and I don't feel like I need extra EQ for APs either. I mostly use them without a sub woofer, I'm pretty happy with the LF response from the 305 for home use.
