Hi guys,
I'm pretty curious to understand what the line between synth A and B, in the FX focus section, stays for.
I attach a screenshot about it.
Any idea?

Re: NS4 FX section for Synth section?
The line isn't there on the actual board. You can choose to apply the effects section to any of the 3 individual Synth sections (including multiple), or you can use Section to apply to all 3 at once.

Re: NS4 FX section for Synth section?
I have a further doubt: when one synth layer is off (let’s suppose that A and B are both on), and you press the section button to modify synth section, what happen?
The change you apply to the section will be applied also to the layer that is off? I mean, when I will turn it on later, I will find the same parameter settings of the rest of the layers?

Just checked my board... it's there!
Guess it might have be the intention to have the effects applied to A+B+C separately, or to AB + C, or to ABC together.
However, seems not to be implemented as such (yet?)

Please check my comment right before yours.. could you test it on your keyboard?

Re: NS4 FX section for Synth section?
As there appears to be a difference between some NS4 keyboards out there based on comments, it might be helpful to share the printed model version number (like I have on my NS3) and whether you have a AB line or no-line model. It would let us know which one is more current. Thanks.

Re: NS4 FX section for Synth section?
i have it, i can edit them all separately though.
Would be interesting if there is any other differences beside this
Edit: just checked group editing with one section off. It either is A or B or C separately or ABC all together

I have the line.
v1.3 on a 73 compact.
(Versions might differ with model too?)

You can edit them separately, but did you try to keep one layer off during the section change?
What we need to know is if these changes are applied also the the NON Active layer
