NS4 AUX KB Mode

About LAYER MIDI CONTROL (manual P.54):

Does this mean that you can set for example each of three synths a different midi channel and play those three synths from externad MIDI sequencer while you play piano and organ with NS4 itself? Or any combination of layers. If yes, this is a crucial thing when I decide to update my rig with NS4 or not.


(And yes… I am a bit lazy to ask this because information is probably somewhere here or there)

Yes, that's what it means. Just as it used to be on NS2 and was "lost" on NS3

EDIT: So you you can make synth A to respond ch1, synth B to ch2 and Synth C to ch3. And you can play those synths with external MIDI controller/seq. But you must be extern mode to de-activate synths on NS4 itself. Fort Stage 3 owner this NS4 is little bit confusing but probably and hopefully much better
