The matter of fact why i arose this question that all my friends who owning Classics Compacts,Electros tried my NS3 C, and admitted ALL, its heavy and did not like the feel.
Another dadicated thread i found here.
nord-electro-forum-f9/changing-keyboard-springs-t13455.html
Not only they, I still can't not enjoy ( and man, I'm trying) playing on NS3C. I had a NS2C and the keybed together with the velocity, was simply perfect to me. I could play for hours/days and no pain, no muscle stress. But it's not the same with NS3C with pianos sound, which to me doens't sound like the NS2C, the action is delayed, stiff, and the velocity isn't natural (for pianos at least) as it was on NS2C. But you know, as the other already said, it's an abstract perception. Some like, some don't.

As I stated on the "Wishlist" thread...
"I kept my 4-year old Stage 2 Compact for a couple of weeks (before selling) so that I could reference my programs while creating duplicate programs on a new Stage 3 Compact.
For what it's worth... The actions were IDENTICAL.
However, my Electro 2 Sixty-One's action is a soft as butter."

Re: NS3 Compact Heavy Touch (Return Springs)
Interesting that others have the same problem with Nord Stage 3 Compact as me. Maybe I gave up to early, but I felt this key-action would never work - so my solution - Use my light Nord Electro 5 on weekly rehearsals and drag my bigger Nord Stage Hammer Action the few times a year I'm playing for others...
I think I will buy a Nord Stage 3 88 if my Nord Stage 2 76 starts failing... (work perfect so far)

Re: NS3 Compact Heavy Touch (Return Springs)
Just thinking loud...
If Clavia develops NS3 and ads physical sliders to Compacts to replicate live organs,
(I understand the personal tastes harder/ softer touch), WHY not to replicate the same touch of a B3 Hammond = 60 grams? I dont think it will ruine the Synth feel of a Compacts.
(Some users swear their Compacts 3 are identical to NS2 or Electros which Touch i prefere better)
In this case the answer is that there is inconsistency in Clavia management line checking department
( as well as faulty Powers, and other stuff happens in recent months to Nord Facebook users) .
( I worked as a Chief Piano tech in the decent Piano Workshop in the Uk so i know what i am talking about, considering checking instruments and i KNOW how much bollockings i would receive if the concert piano for going out for hire or sale is not checked PROPERLY!)

Re: NS3 Compact Heavy Touch (Return Springs)
Because 60 grams isn't satisfying to someone who wants something more solid for piano playing on the same board. It's not a synth action, it's not an organ action, and it can't be a hammer action. This is a rational compromise, as evidenced by the very many happy players out there. And I also used to have an NS2C and I didn't notice any difference either - although I didn't own them side by side.
Clearly a hybrid keybed isn't going to please the dedicated pianists or the dedicated organists. It pleases me as an all-round keyboardist, though! And personally I hate the light feel of the B3 native keyboards - they've got too much "slide" to them and the feel makes it terrible for playing pianoish parts or even EP. I'm very very glad Nord didn't replicate that feel, personally.
I just don't understand keyboardists who complain about keyboards - there is no perfect keyboard anywhere that will make everybody happy. Why demand that other happy people should sacrifice what they like about a keyboard so you can have your perfect one, and just adapt like any other human does to an imperfect world around them! Sure, if YOUR particular NS3C has a defect, complain to Nord about it and get it fixed. But mine (and it seems, a lot of others') feels buttery smooth, has a nice bounce, good balance between stiff and slippery, and is, as far as I can tell, an ideal compromise between firm enough for piano and smooth enough for organ/synth playing. Yes, that means the springs are a little stiffer than your average synth/organ board, and it means you don't get the easy repetitive relief of a proper HA action, but that's what practice and arm strength training (like Hanon exercises) are for - build yourself to the ability to play the board and you won't notice any little issues with the board... again, unless you need a keyboard specifically optimized for one specific playing style in which case go buy that and realize this keyboard isn't that and isn't supposed to be that and stop wishing it was!
To me this whole thing is like a guitarist complaining that his short-scale electric doesn't play like his classical acoustic... (and nuancing that complaint by further comparing it against a long-scale electric).

I think the best option for me to obtain Fatar TP 80 less stiff springs to get to about mayby 65-70 gramms ( but not 80-85) for me.
So when its done i will try to update this thread.
Thanks to everybody for the inputs!
Stay in tune 440 HZ!

Re: NS3 Compact Heavy Touch (Return Springs)
I'd be interested in hearing your reports on that! Is the SW73 a TP80 board normally? I had trouble browsing Fatar's site to figure out what keybed it's actually supposed to be in the first place.
