NS3 Compact + 88-key in Dual KB Mode

I am currently using a NE5D 73 with an 88-key controller and run it exclusively in dual KB mode with organ on top and piano engine on the bottom. In this mode the EXP, Sustain and Rotary pedals connected to the Nord and control the sound played by the 88-key controller. I am limited to a maximum of 2 sounds (1 uppper and 1 lower) and I am considering upgrading to a NS3 Compact so that I can have organ on top and piano+pad on bottom.

Could someone please clarify my understanding of how the N23 works in dual keyboard mode.

From reading the manual, with an 88-key controller connected via midi in, I understand I have 4 dual kb options;

NS3 Dual KB Organ Style ; NS3 Panel A Organ/Piano/Synth, Panel B Piano/Synth 88-Key - Organ from Panel B. All pedals are controlled by the NS3
NS3 Dual KB Piano Style ; NS3 Panel A Organ/Piano/Synth, Panel B Piano/Synth 88-Key - Piano from Panel B. All pedals are controlled by the NS3
NS3 Dual KB Synth Style ; NS3 Panel A Organ/Piano/Synth, Panel B Piano/Synth 88-Key - Synth from Panel B. All pedals are controlled by the NS3
NS3 Dual KB Panel Style ; NS3 Panel A Organ/Piano/Synth, 88-Key Controller Panel B Organ/Piano/Synth. Pedals connected to NS3 control Panel A and Pedals connected to 88-key control Panel B

To further clarify, If I want to have an organ on top and piano+synth on bottom, I will need to run in Dual KB Panel Style and add an extra sustain and expression pedal to the 88-key controller?
