Hi
I am totally new in midi so probaly an easy question.
How to play a multitrack midi file on the NS3? so a different sound for each channel. Or is it with the NS3 only possible to play just over 2 channels (for example panel A on channel 1 and panel B on channel 2)?
Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] NS3 and multitrack midi
Hi Matje,
the latter is correct - you can assign separate midi channels to Panel A and B, but that’s it, so 2x multitimbral. You cannot assign different midi channels to the individual sound engines on each panel, and there are no more than 2 panels available that can produce sounds. Not like workstations which are for example 16x multitimbral, offering 16 different sounds at the same time.
