Hi all,
My old M-Audio Radium 61 has finally died and i'm looking for a replacement (For Live setup).
Most of the newer controllers seem to be USB Bus-Powered.
What i'm really looking for is:
61 Keys
DC powered
Faders (on the left)
Anything else is a bonus
Just putting it out there to see what kind of setup others are using or if anyone has a way of connecting the USB only units to the NS2.
Thanks y'all

Re: NS2 76 2nd controller with USB only
The Arturia Keylab MkII 61 fits the bill apart from the faders on the left requirement. It can be USB or DC powered.

Yes, it looks like a decent unit but unfortunately the Faders are on the wrong side.
Do you use one yourself?

Yup, I have one - I really like the SW keybed, and it's a solid unit.
Another solution for the USB only powered devices could be one of these guys:

Re: NS2 76 2nd controller with USB only
Thanks for all your advice so far.
The issue is because of the single USB (and no MIDI) I have no way to power it up and connect it to the NS2.

Another good call but Faders in the middle and the connectors are (unusually) on the end.

Hi,
okay, so the Roland‘s faders are too far right for you. You may as well look for a used keyboard with faders such as the Roland VR-09. That‘ll give you the add-on of an easy to carry second board.
Cheers

Re: NS2 76 2nd controller with USB only
What's the exact way you would want to connect the two boards? If you put a USB MIDI host in between just to connect USB MIDI to classical MIDI, there might be power over USB, too. But I'm not sure. There are products from MIDITECH or KENTON I've seen - with minor issues.

The drawbars on the VR09 cannot be set to control the NS2. (At least not without external assistance.)
