Midi to USB is no problem, just get one of those MIDI to USB interfaces and it works in whatever software you need.
Cheers!

i bought a MIDI SPORT Interface for hooking up my Nord and Roland JV1080 sound module to Steinberg Cubase. It can house two midi devices converting from Midi leads to USB. It works great and cost around £30 second hand on ebay.

Hi,
First of all nice to meet you!!!!!
I'm trying to read my MIDI files from PROTOOLS or LOGIC by my NORD STAGE 2 Library (USB), but unfortunately it is not working. What I have to do, I mean how can I setup it?
Thanks a lot

Hi Marco & welcome to the forums!

I am not 100% sure what you mean but I guess you want to "play" the NS2 using MIDI tracks in your DAW software right? This is easily possible using e.g., the USB cable, but you need to be careful when specifying the MIDI channels. Have a look at the manual section on this. We have been working on a tutorial for different configurations for the NS2 but it's not yet completely finished, but it might still be useful: Here you can download the tutorial, see if it helps. It is also based on this very useful post by fellow mod mjbrands: http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stage ... tml#p19200

Cheers!
Johannes
