Nord Stage 3

If a poster breaks a rule, then it's the responsibility of the moderator to handle it. You are certainly welcome to message the moderator and ask them to get involved.
However, once members decide to self-appoint themselves as "police" (your word), that's when forums become rude, hostile places. It's a very slippery slope when people take the law into their own hands - in any venue.
Be careful what you wish for.

I appreciate that you've tried to explain your viewpoint, but I respectfully disagree.Gambold wrote:No, you're not a moderator here, so I'm wondering why you are acting like one.
He's talking about the Stage 3 keybed, who cares if he brings up his issue in more than one thread. If people are interested, they will respond, If not, they won't.
If he had said "the keyboard is the best I've ever played," and had posted this in other threads - you would not have said a word. You went after him for the content of his post, not because he broke forum rules (which he didn't).
That's intimidation, and a form of censorship, and has no place here. Please exercise a little tolerance with the (very) few people who occasionally voice a criticism here in Wonderland.
I've seen countless examples over the past twenty or so years on various forums, where a user with a particular axe to grind will sign up and not take the time to even look at the structure of a forum or read the guidelines, but immediately blast away with his particular topic, multiple threads in various sections, and then hijacking threads at every possible occasion to make sure that his critical voice is heard, whether appropriate or not.
That, to me, is a form of bullying. Once he'd posted the thread complaining of censorship when all that had happened was that the redundant thread in the less-appropriate sub-forum had been locked with a clear explanation from a moderator, his post in here seemed indicative of that typical aggressive modus operandi.
I'm used to settling petty disputes and misunderstandings directly, without having to run to a moderator (who usually moderate entirely in their spare time with no compensation whatsoever).
I apologise if that seems overly hostile to you.

No apologies necessary. I personally have been barked at several times for having the occasional opinion about Clavia/Nord that was less than glowing. So I feel a bit for the underdog here - although if this person was indeed crashing into numerous threads with the same complaint, I can see that becoming annoying.

Are they giving an eta? I had heard July - but guitar center has advertised early June. Although based on past experience I don't trust the dates guitar center publishes.NordMarkus wrote:I preordered at a german onlinestore called Thomann (http://www.thomann.de)

Online retailers seem to suggest July. My local music store is taking pre-orders and estimate around June. I'll stick with July.Gospelkeys wrote:Are they giving an eta?
