I know that the hammond as inscreed a lot, in terms of sound quality since that update, but to my ears the Vibrato/Chorus with leslie on the Slow mode.... still sound weird to me

i have the same problem, moving from NS2 to NS3 my main problem is that the organ sound sounds thinner (or weird ) than my NS2
have you got any clue when Nord is going to release a new os update for this? ( i have the 1.36, its better than before but still...)

Re: Nord Stage 3 - hammond B3 Sound
I can't comment on the NS2 because I don't have one, but I do have an NE5D and a NS3. The NS3 sounds pretty much identical to the NE5, there are some very small differences but really only because there are more adjustable sound parameters on the NE5D than there are on the NS3.
At this point aside from possible small changes (I'd like to see the percussion parameters more accessible) there is not likely going to be any changes to the sound engine, it sounds like it was designed to sound.
Make sure your on the most recent firmware.

The default Leslie horn/rotor balance is a bit shriller than on the Stage 2.pianoman0018 wrote:Jo Osantos1 wrote:I know that the hammond as inscreed a lot, in terms of sound quality since that update, but to my ears the Vibrato/Chorus with leslie on the Slow mode.... still sound weird to me

Since OS 1.36, you can adjust it to make the rotor louder and the sound thicker.

Je suis dans le même cas. Je regarde les tirettes du B3 sur les manuels d'utilisateurs comme le XK1 par exemple et je les reproduits sur le NS3Jo Osantos1 wrote:Am i the only one, that can not get the Hammond B3 of the Nord Stage 3 sounding good?

I think you should comment in English, as this is an International Forum. Please make an effort.

In the sound menu. Hold “Shift” and press the program button labelled “sound”, step through the parameters with the left/right buttons, and edit the horn/rotor balance setting with the program knob.
