Re: Nord Stage 3 (Compact) - Mod Wheel Problems
Those screws a cheap as beans. Pretty sure you can get them in Japan - Japan uses metric stuff, so it should be not difficult. You just need the measurements to find them. When you have difficulties finding it as industry wares, maybe look at parts for RC-Model flying. This kind of screws is often used in electric model motors, in control-links and landing gear for RC planes. In English they are called grub screw, in Germany "Madenschraube".
Bragging with gear.

Or perhaps a place where they repair motorcykles or any kind of finer machines.
A good hardware store should also have them.

Re: Nord Stage 3 (Compact) - Mod Wheel Problems
Get the modulation wheel out and so you can take it with you to a shop and try any screws you can find. It does not have to be *exactly* the same hexagonal driver, it could he a slot screw or star or even or a small head screw as well.
See the left hand controller image:

There is plenty of space as long as the head in not too large.

Dear Mr_-G-
Dear Bjosko
Dear Kaffimusic
Thank you for your precious insights. I will definitely visit pc parts shops and toy shops for the set screw. If I could find the one, I would like to post the size and the standards. Many thanks. I wish I could know how I can get my thank reflected on your side information!

Dear Friends,
Actually, the RC hobby shop was the place to go. The size was M3 and the length should be 5mm. Many many thanks. I could not have come up with the idea to visit a hobby shop by myself

I see you have the three leads from the mod wheel soldered directly to the connector on the motherboard. I had to do the same with mine. Did you do that, or did it come from the Nord factory like that?
Just curious-

Re: Nord Stage 3 (Compact) - Mod Wheel Problems
Dear DJKeys
It was done by the factory. However, even after I set the set screw to the wheel and the potentiometer shaft, the wheel didn't function. So, I applied contact (
recovery) spray to the potentiometer itself and the connection to the motherboard. And it worked. The contact spray I used was the one produced by KURE.
Thanks
