1. You have plugged the Triple Pedal into the sustain jack.
2. You have set System menu item "8 Sustain Pedal" to Type=Triple and Range=Sustain
3. One or multiple of your sound engines in the running program has sustain on

No, I’m not, it is a Nord Stage 3 HA88

Maybe if you give us a little more info, we can better help...

You indicated that you see midi activity when using the pedal. Thus the board should recognise it and it is interesting (for debugging) to know what it is seen as in the menu when plugged in.

Otherwise it is hard to help

TL;DR The triple pedal works fine with the Nord Stage 3.

I bought my triple pedal the same time I bought my Stage 2 - in 2014. I sold the NS2 last week, but kept the triple pedal (and the dust cover!). My new NS3 arrived yesterday. Plugged in the triple pedal and it worked perfectly first time - didn't have to set anything in the menu. Just FYI, in the system menu for "Sustain Pedal Type", it says "AUTO TRIPLE" (OS version 2.54).

Works fine with my stage 3.

If your Setup is "Auto=Triple Pedal " then it's working!! If not, you might having something related to a bad cable or soldering.
It's very commom in this pedal, it's a fragile one, maybe someone try to fix it and inverted the wires of the stereo plug.
