Hi, I use a nord stage 2 that is making a lot of noise when I press the keys. This is because the sponges have word down I believe. Does anyone know what kind of sponge is used so I can buy some and get it replaced.
Thanks

HI Isaaac.
Sponge? There is no "sponge" in the NS2... and no felt too (if that's what you mean), after some years of (heavy) usage the NS2 keybed may become more noisy either because of mechanical wear and/or because it needs some re-greasing of the joints (best case).

May also be, but knowing how the AT strip is done and where it is placed it cannot/shouldn't be the cause of increased keybed noisiness+ he should see the AT no more working properly, if worn.

Re: Nord Stage 2 Sponge
Hi I’m sorry, I think I really butchered that question. I think it is the felt for the keybed that I am talking about. I should have also mentioned that it is specifically the HA76 that I have. I think I’ve found the Keyboard felt but it looks like it’s an American distributor and I’m trying to find one here in the UK

As far as I know the NS2 76 has a Fatar TP40 (like also used in Kurzweil PC3, Forte and K27). Fatar is an italian manufacturer, I am sure you can get this in Europe.
Bragging with gear.

Fatar does not sell to private customers and replacing a whole keybed with a new one requires recalibration, in general you always better refer to Nord assistance/distributor for parts and/or service.
