No driver is required/available for Mac from Nord (so not sure what you may have installed).
However you can try to boot the NS2 in Firmware "Update mode", following this procedure:
Hold down the Shift + Store buttons on the unit while powering it up. This will start the unit in the Update Mode, which will allow the Update Tool to connect with the unit more easily.
