Re: Monitor speakers and interface
What inputs are you using on the Behringer? Plugging the Nord CH1 and CH2 into 2/3 or 4/5 with Balance in the middle should sound very similar to plugging directly into the speakers as the Behringer is only changing the volume level with those inputs, not EQ. Regarding playing along with music, is it for overdubbing or simply playing along with songs on your laptop? If the latter, you may be able to run a stereo line from your laptop to the Aux In on your Nord to play along with songs.Paolo86 wrote:from the previous post. Re: Monitor speakers and interface
As expected, but you didn't answer to the other question : when you connect it to the Behringer, which input channels are you using (and also which outputs for the KRKs?)? How are the Nord + input channel + master levels set?Paolo86 wrote:Tried it now and it sounds much better! If I replace the behringer with a focusrite 4i4 would that be an improvement?
Because what I also miss with the Beheringer is that I can't play along with the music from the laptop when I use the headphones. Then I don't hear the line in piano but only the usb music from the laptop
PS: I see also WannitBBBad asked again the same + gave a proper suggestion to ensure you are using stereo Line inout channels.

Re: Monitor speakers and interface
the second option , just play along with songs. I now have a jack from the headphones of the Behringer to the aux in of the nordstage3. You will only hear a slight buzzing sound.WannitBBBad wrote:What inputs are you using on the Behringer? you know the q502usb? not many connections. The stage 3 comes in on the line 4/5 with the balance knob in the middle. The rokit speakers are connected to the main out.maxpiano wrote:As expected, but you didn't answer to the other question : when you connect it to the Behringer, which input channels are you using (and also which outputs for the KRKs?)? Re: Monitor speakers and interface
It isn't good to loop the Behringer headphone jack (which includes your Nord output) back to Nord Aux In. Do you have a way of playing the songs into the Aux In either from a phone, mp3 player, or any other source that doesn't also have your Nord output?Paolo86 wrote:the second option , just play along with songs. Yes I know the Q502 but I wanted to be sure, what about the levels...? Have you tried with channel + main at 0 dB and pushing the Nord Volume to 3/4 or max of its range?Paolo86 wrote: you know the q502usb? not many connections.
