MIDI TRANSMIT PROBLEM ON NORD STAGE EX (not over usb)

Hi everyone.
At a friend's house I tried to use his NORD STAGE EX as a controller for Logic.
NS is not transmitting ANY midi signal.
I know NS EX doesn't transmit MIDI over USB.
We use a MIDI to USB cable to connect to computer.
We tested cable with another small controller and the midi tu usb cable is working perfectly.
Logic is receiving perfecly on channel 1 ( or ANY)
With NS EX nothing is happening (I can see midi activity)
I switched on Extern Section in panel A setting channel 1 in Extern Menu Channel in panel A.
Extern is over all the keyboard...no split
MIDI CHANNEL A and B in midi settings , all channel 1
Again...no midi activity

Nothing happens...
Panel A organ , piano , synth , are all on 1 ( I think is receiving channel....but I put them all on 1 to be sure....)....nothing
What Am I missing?

Hello, avoid to use the same Channel for multiple settings, it will disable it.

To do a test I suggest to set Panel A to 1 and all the rest to Off (or distinct channels for Panel B and each A/B section) and no Extern then see what happens
