Hi, I'm pretty new to Nord stage 3 and wonder how I can change the master clock to receive tempo information from Logic Pro. I've seen a tutorial and it says it shoukld happen automatically, but even if the midi indicator flashes in sync with the logic metronome, the BPM stays the same and the. "rate" says (Internal) Should't it say MIDI?
Hope for some help
Christer

Re: Master clock is stuck on internal

So that makes me think that Logic Pro is indeed sending "something" cyclically and synchronized with the clock, but that "something" isn't MIDI clock message but another kind of message.
Does the MIDI led on the Stage 3 flash very briefly each time, or does it stay lit for a split second longer? I know it might be hard to tell at the beginning, but that's how the Stage shows you MIDI messages which are received but unused by it, and the ones which are in fact doing something.
+ 1 and I suggest you use Snoize MIDI Monitor https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ on the Mac to check outgoing messages to the NS3 port and see if MIDI clock is actually being sent or not.
