Level for Synth in NS4 is routed post Reverb/Delay. In NS2EX this was different, and at least I preferred that.

I'm just having my NS2EX and my NS4 side by side and are working on recreating my beloved sounds from the NS2EX to the NS4. I just found out that unfortunately, the level of the Synth in the NS4 is post reverb/delay (unfortunately). So when I morph the synth to silence, also its reverb is silent abruptly. This was not the case in the NS2. I'd appreciate a global setting for that. A good example to hear the difference is the "10cc on ModWheel" that I'm just about to recreate. This constraint is preventing me from getting good results. It would be appreciated if Nord added an effect routing setting (globally or better per program). What does the community think?

I'd encourage all owners to report it as a bug due to the unintended consequences including echo cutting out, and possibly the reverb not carrying through with the smooth transitions might be tied to it as well. Perhaps the function (pre or post) could be assigned globally, but post-effects has much more limited use IMO. The current implementation doesn't make sense to me on how reverb and delay effects should work.

I think it’s a consequence of having an effect panel per engine…the whole thing is routed to the internal mixer, rather than the internal engines being mixed and routed to the effects from there.

I've asked Nord about the reverb to act the same as delay : when you turn the knob to dry the signal 'rings' out instead of just reacting to the position.
They said they are contemplating this so maybe this request can be joined to that.

I still have to test it but I think any effect (not all are the same but delay/reverb at least) should just ring out even if the source is switched off or the volume turned down.
That's the most sensible (imho) way it should always work just like when switching programs.
Just never cut-off the effect, but at the most shorten it's time a bit.
