Kb Gate function, any example?

Ok, so, today I tried it and made sure that the Latch or Kb Gate was on, even both and nothing...If i try it tomorrow just with the Latch pedal (The one I usually have the switch to toggle the rotor speed...) and if it doesn't work, it will tell me that it's my triple pedal which is not working right?

I guess so Quai34. As a double check you can also try with a single pedal plugged into the Rotary/Latch input and setting it as "Latch" in the System menu.

Sorry if this was answered before, are the latch / kb gate options removed from the stage3?
I think they're quite useful features to have

According to current info the KBGate has apparently been removed, Latch should still be there.

Ok guys,
So, I tried the Latch function and Kb Gate with a Boss FS-5U that toggle the rotor usually....Both functions worked well and it's very funny in fact....BUT nothing with the triple pedal. Then, it's the triple pedal that has dirty contacts. Is it difficult/ sketchy to clean them in my own, I think Analogikaanalogika did it in one of his post about the pedal noise that was too loud due to dirt but cannot find again the post?
Should I try to do it myself or better asking for help at my local store?

The triple pedal has the same type of rubber contacts as a keyboard, so if you know how to clean keyboard contacts you can do it, if not ...

Dirty contacts... or broken cable? Open the pedal, clean the contacts and also check the cable with a tester. There are photos of the open pedal somewhere in the forum.
PS: search for 'inside triple pedal'.

I looked at the thread and I don't feel comfortable doing it on my own, so, I sent the link to my tech (In order for him to see inside before I bring the pedal...) so he can figure out how long it will take.
