Would appreciate any advice, I can't seem to find the answer in the manual. I start with a program that has Synth patch X in both A and B slots. I select B, and change that synth to Z. Then I find that both A and B have been changed to Z. Either that, or B is the new Z synth sample, and A then has the same sound with "dtn" in the waveform window. How do I do this (have two separate synths that I can import (copy) from different program slots and then work on in the A and B slots of a new program)? I’ve tried disabling the detune function.
I’ve tried to keep one synth slot A the same and copy a synth slot from another program to the B Slot, but the same thing happens. Both slots end up being the same. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m missing, but I just can’t figure it out.
Again, my goal is to be able to have two different synth sounds in A and B slots in a program. Then to keep one synth sound slot unchanged, and be able to play with different synth sounds in the other slot, hopefully by copying synths from other program slots.
Hope that’s not too confusing!
Thanks to all for any help or advice!

Re: How to A/B slot 2 synths
Interesting effects. One first idea: Try initialising a blank program and restart from there.
What you are writing concerns the NS2ex, right? So try [Shift] + Prog [D].
