You can only create presets in these banks in the desired order and flip through them with the rotary knob. And the 4 buttons under the screen do not allow you to assign a quick set of presets to them. It's inconvenient. But you can get used to it. In your Prophet X it is organized perfectly. I have read about problems with temperature more than once. They say that you should make 5-10 calibrations and then the synth will remember them and will be less upset. So it's not a global problem, and maybe this problem will not occur. What effect pedals will go well with this synth? I think you should have at least a reverb and a delay. Is this pedal a good GFI System Specular Tempus Reverb & Delay? It doesn't have a very big price.
It does seem that Pro3 has a play list mode as well, when I googled it some references came up. So maybe there is a play list button on the synth. It may be worth checking. I agree the method you describe is not good, the Rev2 is like that as well. Technically the Prophet X is also like this unless you use play list mode, one knob for bank and one for program. But in a play list it is simple.
I understand what you mean about the temperature now. This is not a problem, it is just a procedure that you run when you power up to let the synth adjust to different environments. If you go to a gig that is very different from your home for example, you would just run the tuning routine when you power up, and then it will store that temperature. Unless there are sudden temperature shifts in the middle of your gig I do not see any potential problems in any way and even then the tuning routine should take only seconds. In fact when I had the Take5 I never ran it a single time and it was always in tune.
I have not owned the Specular Tempus but I have owned some other GFI pedals (now discontinued,) Specular Reverb3 and Clockwork Delay2. These were both excellent and the Specular Tempus uses these sounds plus more. The sound quality was very high, definitely much better than the delays and reverbs in the Sequential synths. One thing to keep in mind, the Specular Tempus requires you to connect to a computer for full parameter editing. You can only change 4 parameters for each effect on the pedal itself but there are sometimes up to 8 on the computer app. Of course you can then save these as presets after though.
It would be hard to recommend other pedals because I do not know what is easily available in Russia and also I am sure prices on some are much higher. For example I like many pedals from Strymon and Meris. The Universal Audio pedals are simple (only one preset) but they sound excellent. All of these work well with synth / line level audio. GFI should as well (the old pedals I owned did.) Maybe something cheaper could be the new Line 6 DL4 MKII. It has delay and reverb. In the USA at least it is often on sale but this may not be the case elsewhere. I have not owned this one though.
