Global Output Routing?
On my NS4 I am trying to globally route organ to sub1 and piano to main. However, the output menu seems to only provide program level changes, so it's not persistent between programs. I cannot seem to find the answer in the manual - does anyone know how you make output routing global? Thanks!

Re: Global Output Routing?
Just found this in the manual: "Most settings are global, meaning that they apply regardless of which program is currently loaded, while others – such as per-Layer Output Routing settings and Extern and Aux KB menu settings – are stored per Program."
Can it possibly be true that there is no way to assign global output routing? This is the kind of thing that changes from gig to gig, it would be a giant PITA to have to change every program every time you have a new mixing board requirement.

Re: Global Output Routing?
I can only assume this will be addressed in a firmware update; it's functionality that the Stage 3 had.

Re: Global Output Routing?
Hi. Has anyone found a way to do this globally yet / know anything from Nord/other forums about this being implemented in future firmware updates? Seems like a massive oversight to me.
When I use the Minivent/Ext Leslie on a gig, it makes sense to just globally change the routing as opposed to having a load of duplicate programmes rerouted. Sometimes I don't have time/space for that setup so a quick way to reroute back to 1+2 globally should surely be an option? (I get why it's currently at a per programme basis but there should be a lil toggle soft key on the menu to switch between "prog" / "global"

Re: Global Output Routing?
Okay, I didn't realize these weren't global and had a panic attack trying to make all of my patches route properly before church started. Apparently, if you don't save the patch with the routing, when you jump to another patch, the output routing settings aren't saved? Not sure how but some of the patches required me resetting the outputs again after a few hours. Really surprised Nord hasn't figured out a Global option for this yet.

Re: Global Output Routing?
My use is real leslie in rehearsel room and Ventilator at home. In output settings I have for each program set the Rotary Output Bus to Sub II for organ and Main for rotary. By enable or disable the Rotary Speaker (Organ On or Off) I then can switch between internal lesliesim to Mains(1+2) and sending raw organ to 3 which is for my Leslie 910 evt Ventilator.ryantaylorlive wrote:When I use the Minivent/Ext Leslie on a gig, it makes sense to just globally change the routing as opposed to having a load of duplicate programmes rerouted.
