Fuse and power Question for STAGE 2 EX COMPACT

Post by KommanderKEEN »

I am the proud owner of a new STAGE 2 EX Compact. It is a Japanese model. However I live in China and will be doing the major festival circuit with my band. I've been using a power converter, but It's quite common for stage hands at the festivals to forget to plug it in and blow the whole thing up.

I have a friend here in China, who opened up his STAGE 2 73 and replaced the Japanese fuse(100V/50-60HZ) with a Chinese Fuse (220V/ 50HZ). He has been using it normally without a power converter for the past year.

These are the specs for the fuse he used. I currently have the same one: 6X32 125MA/250VP 0.125A 250V 313

My question is this. Is there any difference between the STAGE 2 73 and the STAGE 2 EX Compact in relation to electrical matters? I would assume there wouldn't be, but I want to be doubly sure before I replace the fuse.

Thanks guys
