Hello fellow Nord Stage users.
I upgraded from the Stage 2 to Stage 3 a couple of months ago. In the Stage 2 I could enable the external section to play a pad, play some notes and hold the sustain pedal, disable the external section (while holding the sustain pedal) and the sounds would keep playing. I used this way to latch a pad.
In the Stage 3, the moment I disable the external section, the notes are directly cut off. I suspect the Stage 3 is sending cc64 0 or maybe even midi panic to the external host.
Is there a way to get back to the functionality as provided in the Stage 2?

Re: Extern - midi note off
As far as I remember, the NS3 sends note off messages, to prevent hanging notes, when you change away from a program and/or disable the extern section. This is done on purpose, to prevent hanging notes. And there is no way, that I'm aware of, that can disable this functionality.

Re: Extern - midi note off
It's a Big problem when you control external bass synth... The sound cut when you Select a New program, even if you don't send any program change!! It's horrible.
A simple Hammond SK1 do this perfectly!!
And you Can select a New program while maintaining thé same Split and bass sound on the left hand!! Magic!!
