Double key strike causes volume spike - NS2 & 3
I have a Nord Stage 2 HA88 and sometimes when rapidly playing a single key twice (two very light strikes within a quarter second or so) a full-volume note will jump out. It doesn't happen every time, you've got to hit it just right, but it does seem to be a glitch in the velocity programming or something. Just wondering if this is a known issue and if Nord perhaps has a firmware update that fixes this. Granted, it is pretty rare to play a key like that, but it has gotten me on occasion when doing a two-handed fast run.

Yes, it’s been reported to Clavia for the NS3-88 and a fix is expected in the coming weeks after NAMM. You are the first person I know of to mention it for the NS2 or NS2EX. You should probably report this to Clavia, so they create a fix for the NS2.

Super. I have reported it. Yea, I couldn't find much about it on the web until I saw it also reported on a NS3 that narrowed it down to being a double strike. I couldn't figure out how to repeat it. With it being repeatable they should be able to fix it then. Thanks!

Ever get that sorted out? Both my NS2EX 88 and my NS3 88 do that. It’ll scare you right out of the moment, won’t it? I had to buy a cheaper 88 key controller bc neither Nord is studio worthy like that.

I have a new Nord Stage 3 88HA that has some sort of glitch where when I'm playing very fast lines or repeated notes, one random key will play at full velocity. So, fast but quiet lines in Chopin and out of nowhere...PING!!! Is there a fix?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Same problem here. Well documented. No fix. Extremely annoying.
