Deleting pianos - newbie ques
Hi sorry to ask this (prob stupid ques):
Ive not done this so hypothetical. Let's say I delete a piano I dont need. Then I call up a program that uses that piano. What happens?
Thanks Pete

It says "piano not found", but otherwise works as expected. Also, probably best if you share which Nord Stage you are referring to.
I think I have gear issues ....

Thx cphollis. NS3. So it says piano not found and it would just apply the other settings in the program without the piano I guess?

Yes. Everything else is intact. As you get to know your board, you'll likely have less interest in the factory presets, and want to roll your own. A tour through the presets is useful to see what's possible with morphs, etc. But the real fun is when you start building your own.

Is the NP4 any good? Yeah,I'd call it super good, but opinions vary.
Some folks are all into specific actions, which leads them to Kawais and sometimes Yamaha CP series. I'm totally down with the NP4 AP action, as I go back and forth between it and various nice real acoustic pianos. The Nord piano samples are great, and the sidebar samples are great as well. I do entire nights of cocktail music on the NP4 and nothing else.
For live electric, it's a NS3C with an older NP2 underneath as a midi controller. For tasty acoustic, it's the NP4. Plus buckets of killer amplification
