I have two, the FC7 which is built like a tank, and a Roland EV5, which seems to be a little bit more fragile, BUT (big but here), you can set up the control physically in the pedal. Both are widely recommended. Heavy use on stage since 4 years, and both work like a charm. FC7 to control FXs/keyboard layers and the EV5 to control volume or organ swell

Some more features of the EV5: it is quite light to transport (while the FC7 is heavier). If you ever need to replace the internal potentiometer, the FC7 uses a special type of pot that has a "dead" section without the carbon coating (it is all conductive). That type of pot might be difficult to source it (although I heard that somebody was selling the original parts in Ebay). The EV5 uses a standard 10KOhm pot, if I recall correct, which should be easy to find virtually anywhere.
