Hi guys,

I have a nord stage 3 connected with the nord monitors. I love it and decided recently to buy a loopstation bossrc505 mk2. After receiving it at home, i have great difficulties connecting the cables. I have my nord connected to the monitors and a midi towards the loop station. It somehow connects with the bpm but does nog record any sounds. After trying it for over an hour, im exhausted and hope to find answers here.

Could anybody help me how to connect the cables? I would like only one output on the monitors but be able to record.

Hi Luuk,
MIDI does not transmit sound. On Nords the USB also does NOT have an audio signal. If you want an audio signal to go to the looper you’ll need to use the 1/4” outputs. There should 4 on your Nord identified as 1,2,3 &4.
