Hey guys!
I've left it there for them to check everything, so I should be getting in touch with Nord support soon.
I only regret for not shooting a simple video demonstrating the strange key behavior.
I hope we'll solve it easily.

Sorry to read that you unpacked a new NS2 in these conditions.
I had a broken one delivered, I mean a >broken< keybord, in an undamaged, unpacked box.
Quite difficult to understand how this can happen, to pack and sale a board with broken keys.
Sometimes things can go wrong in production lines.
After-sale service is here for that kind of thing.
I hope you'll get a new one the sooner the better.

Howdy again...
So the crew confirmed that this behavior is not normal, especially when fresh out of box. The keyboard remained with them, we've reached out to Clavia support and I'm hoping for a simple solution.
I'll keep you posted in hope that we might solve this problem for other people too.
And I was just beginning to enjoy it.

Hi Dragan,
Perhaps I missed it, but I did not see if you ID'd the keybed you have on your NS2EX...? 88 notes = HA, 76 notes = HP, 73 notes = SW. For the record, what Nord calls HP is the Fatar TP/100. Also for the record, Nord does purchase keybeds from Fatar and calibrates all Stage, Electro and PIano model line keybeds. Only synths and dual manual organs not calibrated.
Bless,
Pablo

Re: Bad/Broken/Loose/Squeaky Click Key on NS2EX
Hi again!
Sorry for the confusion. It is NS2EX 88 - Hammer Action. PC3K8 has TP40L keybed, my mistake.
Anyway, we've opened the board and the Bb4 key was definitely broken. Plastic hammer-lever was broken, obviously due to a localized single heavy impact.
The noise of the white keys is probably produced by the small pink hammers at the base of the keys, and probably is a consequence of the same impact ?
Not claiming that it might be overlooked in calibration process or anything. Maybe it's just damaged in transport, which is not so easy to do - and there is no damage on the package box itself.
Mysterious indeed.
Anyway, Nord is shipping a new keyboard as we speak so... Nord
I get to be all excited and jumpy again. Plus open another package.
