It's very easy to create a NSMP file from the wave file using the Nord Sample Editor.
Give it a try if you want :)

It is as simple a drag and drop + click on generate NSMP. You should give it a try.
I play this harmonica sound on Niagara's cover of "J'ai vu" :

I agree, try it out with the Nord Sample Editor. It is extremely easy to take the wave file (<--click to download) and create an NSMP file with the sound duration, fade out, and other parameters you want, and leave out any notes you don't need to reduce the sample memory needed too.

most blues is mixolydian so the comment above of using the 4th degree of the scale you are playing in is accurate if the tune (blues or not) is in fact mixolydian...
