Hello and sorry in advance for my English.
I want to play the song: black velvet - Alannah Myles. I can't find the exact sound.
Could someone help me with the right settings?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Alannah MYLES - black velvet
It's a fairly simple country-rock song: bass, drums, guitars.
The main keyboard sound I can hear is Hammond, with maybe some strings overlayed on a couple of moments. I think you can easily do it with only two Hammond registrations: high drawbars (something like 004804008) with fast leslie for the piercing "whistle" sound, and a softer registration (classic 888000000, or maybe 648000000) with slow leslie for the main pad sound.

Re: Alannah MYLES - black velvet
There is a bit more to the organ for cover players who want to raise the challenge !
Indeed there are at least 2 registrations. The values described here could be a good start : https://organforum.com/forums/forum/ele ... gistration
Taking this YT as a reference ( I think you can add 2 other sounds :
* this specific voicy sound that come at 02:21
* this paddy keyboard sound at 02:42
Of course, both could be done with the organ sound used before.
Personally, I like to take the challenge and I would dig to add those extra 2 sounds, along with the 2 organ registrations.

There is also a synth behind the guitar solo. I have this on a separate panel-

Re: Alannah MYLES - black velvet
Thank you for your answers, I will test this sound in the hope that it looks a bit like it.
@cookie Merci Fred,
Indeed there is a synth part too. It's not the one that worries me the most, our guitarist adds an effect with his effect pedal and we get pretty close to the sound.
once again you are helping me. I followed your advice and bought myself an expression pedal and it really helped me.
