I upgraded before practice tonight because I love the Alphabetical search in the List mode.

However there is a major problem as more than half of my programs no longer send program change messages to my A1. The Extern settings were the same, send on load, channel, MSB< LSB, etc, just no program change. I changed the program number with the dial and nothing happened at all on the A1.

Went back to 1.46 after practice, works perfectly again, no issue.

Anyone else see this?

I use my NS3 alone so cannot try what you’ve described. If it is not working, send an email to Clavia.

All-

I just reported to Pablo at Nord Tech Support that in OS 1.50, program change messages are only sent if there is an Extern keyboard zone mapped to the A1 from the NS3. If no note-sending zones are mapped to the A1, the program change message are not sent by the NS3. This works fine in 1.46.

OK, I feel very foolish.

What I was seeing in 1.50 was actually a different bug that had been previously fixed. That was the issue that PC messages were being sent when the Extern section was turned off. I thought it was actually turned on because the PC messages were being sent. So, all I had to do is activate all Zones (to turn Extern on) then turn all zones off on the patches I didn't want to send note data to. Now, everything works as it should, and I am embarrassed at my lack of understanding in this case.

You should be embarrassed, VERY embarrassed, to report this to all of us -- given that every other member of this forum, myself included, is always 100% perfect all of the time and never misstates or mistakes anything in life. :shock:
