It's the first one on the left side.

No, splits have to be done within a patch. In a patch you can split/layer any of the 6 sounds (or 8 if you count the extern section) you have at your disposal, that's, 2 organs (actually 2 manuals from the same organ), 2 pianos and 2 synths.

If you are interested in having a split using one sound from a patch and another from any other, the only "help" you have is to save synth patches or to copy another's patch Panel A or B.... I hope it makes sense to you....

Ramon- for example, could I have a EP from the
Piano section split with another piano from the piano
Section?

Indeed it is important to understand the basics, so the not too thick manual and two hours of time should give you a greatly improved understanding of your new instrument.
As for the layer patches, activate both Panels by Pressing Panel A and Panel B buttons simultaneously, then activate the Piano Sections on both Panels.
If you want to have a split, select e.g., a two-part split and select the Piano in one Panel for the lower section and the Piano in the other Panel for the upper part, should work easily!

Are you trying to load NS2 patches ".ns2p"
This section is for the Stage EX, and Stage Classic.
These ".nspg" programs aren't compatible with the Stage 2.

As Hanon said, there is no way of converting patches.
The only way would be to manually convert the settings, or using a picture of the Panel (or a screenshot of thistool with the patch loaded). Still you would need someone with a NS Classic/EX to do it and then dial in the settings manually.
If it is one particular patch you are interested in I could do it (not all of them Im sorry..its a lot of work).

Cheers

Hello Johannes,

it's a great idea!! How about creating the same page for NS2 patches (the uploads are growing up!) ?

Have a good week

Johannes wrote:Hi,

as more people hop on the NS2 train, I thought it would be a good idea to do a kind of wrap up of all the great works that have been done by Nord Stage Classic and EX users in order to create patches that can be shared, both on request of others and just as a mean of sharing one's tweaking results.
Going through this forum and some other places on the net, I pulled the strings together and put all the great patches I came across into a collection where you can listen to them, download the patch and find further information in the original discussions.

If you only want to tryout the patch files by yourself, you can download the whole set in the Downloads Section already here: 100 Programs Collection 2009-2011

However, if you first want to get an idea if a particular patch might be useful of you, you find the whole set INCLUDING MP3 Previews on one page here: (Please be patient as the page might need up to one minute to fully load due to to the great number of small Flash Players, but if finally will load and once it is there, you can listen to all of them without further problems!)

Nord Stage Classic/EX Patch Collection

Also, for each patch there is a link to the post the patch was posted first where you usually find additional info about how to use it or can ask the creator.
It was great fun to go back to some of those patches to get some inspiration to play around with! So again, kudos to all the creators as mentioned there, and keep it up!

It is unfortunate IMHO that the NS" does not understand the .nspg format, but maybe there is a solution sometime in the (near?) future.

If you have any problem or issue with this page, find an error or want your patch to be removed or changed, please PM me or reply to this thread!!

Cheers,
Johannes

Is it posible to ad a date to the uploaded patches?
It would make it easier to find the newest uploaded sounds :thanks:
Great job, great site :yourock:
