Does anyone have a patch which sounds like the synth bass sound in the famous Herbie Hancock song Chameleon? And does anyone have a patch which sounds like the synth he uses for the solo later in the song?

I'd use that, AMP1 a bit of overdrive and a bit of room reverb, as well as some more treble and bass (mid left 0)
For a similar thing, I set up a sawtooth wave with the 12dB/octave filter, a fair bit of resonance and an enveloped "fall off" so you get a real farty sound, then if you get the maximum porno sound, you then go through the waves until you get to the RESO lot in the WAVE bank and then it's just fartyness off the scale!
