Does anyone have a program for a handclap on the NS EX?

Re: handclap on NS EX
Hello heisterkamp,
Welcome to the forum,
a real "sampled type" handclap is going to be impossible with the NSEx.
If you can make do with a traditional synth clap.
This is how we used to do it on the Prophet 5;

Re: handclap on NS EX
that sounds pretty ok to me. Only I can't seem to load nss files (NS EX uses .nspg right?)
any short tutorials on how to create that sound?

Hello heisterkamp,
the .nss file is just the synth patch.
The .nspg would be the entire program patch which would include any layered instruments such as piano, organ, and synth.
You can load the synth patch with the Nord Sound Manager software (NSM).
In the main NSM window, choose the 'synth" tab, delete one of the existing presets "that you don't want"...better yet, choose upload to copy it to a safe location on your computer for future use, then delete it from NSM.
Then simply drag the new preset "Prophet 5 claps.nss" to the vacant location.
Just in case this doesn't work out for you, here is the .nspg file
Cheers, Hanon
