Unable to Download Sounds to Nord Stage 3

Postby _jazzcat » 01 Mar 2022, 22:34

Hello,

I am trying to download the sounds to my Nord Stage 3 but am unable to. I have the most recent sound manager and software but for some reason, the sound files (attached in the screenshot) are greyed out. I also have plenty of space on my Nord. Any ideas? Thank you

Those are not "Synth presets"
The npno is a piano sample and the ns3f is a program. You are trying to upload those to the wrong memory locations.

You'll need to make sure you have enough Piano memory too. For just a few files, I usually put the Nord Stage Manager in "Organize" mode, select the tab, then just drag-n-drop the file where I want it.

Thank you! I am new to this but that makes more sense now. I am now receiving this error that part of the program is not found however I am not sure I know what that means.

I believe you need to load the Marimba npno file and possibly a DX7 based upon the program name. At this link to the Stage 3 program viewer, you can upload your program file and see what npno files it needs. nord-stage-forum-f3/ns3-program-viewer-t19939.html
