Hello all -

I'm looking for the perfect Nord sound for when my band is playing "Because" by the Dave Clark 5. The band wants me to play the first few intro bars, background drone throughout, and then the solo in the middle which almost duplicates the intro. I have that all figured out - now just to refining the sound.

Smith, keyboardist in Dave Clark 5, used a Vox normally (according to photos of the band & Vox suppliers). But it seems like a Farfisa, rotary fast about 5, with maybe some vibrato, might duplicate the sound better. Perhaps it's the octave that I'm playing the notes in.

All advice appreciated.
