Hi. I'm a newbie so have mercy...
I play in a gig without a bassist, so my panel B synth is always occupied by a bass sample. The thing is, I want a fat octave-layered strings sound (some phrases are musically problematic with a one-hand octave playing).
Any ideas of a quick way achieving this or of an existing sampled octave strings?
Thanks in advance,
Benny

If you are only using the first 2-3 octaves for the bass, then you can split that panel and add strings on the right side of the split point. From there on you can press the octave down button for the strings on that panel and after you press the store button, the octave setting will be stored as well!

This is false, you can't split the sample engine on same panel.

You need to get sampled octave string sound, some time ago I created the pool so nord would release octave string sound for us, but it seems majority of users don't need it as the pool was voted down.

This is what I did so far for my octave-strings split program.
What do you think?
And these is a synth program for the sample:

BtW - I sampled strings-falls in the upper octaves

Re: Octave-layered strings on a single panel
Here’s what I’d do. Have panel A split between bass and strings. Copy the string part and paste it to panel B. Now just octave shift Zone of them up or down and remember to have both panels active.
Edit: nvm your bass is a sample aswell. So what I said doesn’t make sense.
