Looking for programs

Postby zostrich » 30 Mar 2022, 17:19

Hey, i am looking for following sounds, i would really appreciate the help.

Deep purple Burn, keyboard solo both synth and the piano/hammond sound both at the solo part.

King crimson Court of the crimson king strings.

I am a piano player, kinda new into synths. Really need those.

Thank in advance.

Hello, I noticed your prior request for Burn was unanswered last year - sorry folks missed that. I can't get to my Stage 3 today, but listen to the classic synth presets that came with your Stage 3, I think there might be something there to work with.

Thanks for the reply, but i ve never seen anyone achiving the hammond/piano sound on burn. noone even close, there are videos on youtube, people play perfectly but not close to the sound of that part. I lost my faith in finding that exact sound :D

you do realize that was done in the studio with multiple overdubbed tracks. Live that section is just played on a Hammond B3.

The strings sound like a Mellotron sample could do the trick. Either that or a combination of a suitable clean string sample and effects like amp sim. Experiment and find the sound that suits your fingers and your band arrangement (assuming you are playing these in a band).
