Choir Mixed Soft sample weird behavior

Not sure if this is the right forum for this kind of question, but I'll try anyway.

I'm using the Choir Mixed Soft sample that comes with the stage 3 compact (#205), and I really like it. It has a very beautiful and detailed sound.
One small problem - when going up from A4 to Bb4, suddenly something changes and the "choir" loses the high notes (it sounds like the soprano singers were fired ;) ). The same applies to all notes higher than Bb4 as well.
No one will probably notice it when played live, but I can hear this discrepancy very loud and clear, and it really bothers me.
Does anyone know any details about it? Is it normal behavior for "official" nord samples to switch characteristics in the middle of the keyboard?
