I'm trying to build a program from this song with the bass synth in slot A and the filter sweeping pad in slot B.
I've been able to come up with something passable starting with the NS2's samples and playing with the cutoffs, resonance, and envelopes, but I recently came across an old post from 2014 when someone absolutely nailed both sounds on an NSEX (obviously without external samples). There is a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to his/her program that I can't even come close to.

Can anyone help with this for the NS2?

I have a program for this, but I won't be able to upload it until tomorrow.

OK, here is the program I mentioned.

Left Split is the Oberheim-like bass patch. Right split has the sweeping pad. The Wurlitzer piano will come out nicely with velocity in the chorus.

The bass sound has bite. Almost sounds like a clav underneath it.

I also like your sweeping pad - it's more appropriate for the chorus than for the big resonant sweep at the intro. I'll somehow incorporate it into what I had done up with.
