Hi - I sold my NS2 and got an NS3 during COVID. During my haste in backing up files, I didn't save a backup of my individual samples. So I'm able to use the 'File Viewer for Nord Stage' and it's been a great tool to help rebuild some sounds from my Stage 2 programs. However, I'm finding I still want to use some of the NS2 samples. It would be great if I could have kept both keys during my transition, but I couldn't afford to.

I'm wondering if someone might be so kind to open the attached bundled file and send me the sample and program files as separate files.

I'm interested in the *.ns2p file and the nsmp file. PLEASE???

ughhh, I'll have to 'find' and app for that as all my MAC and apple products are hung up on not opening zips. Not a quick resolve for me, so for now -I'll try to find someone to help me. Thanks anyway.

Use KEKA app for that purpose

Which macOS version are you using? ZIP files should be extracted from finder by double-clicking on the file, at least with all macOS versions from High Sierra upwards. There are also plenty of apps to create and extract compressed files like zip, for example like the one recommended by neomad or "The Unarchiver" or many others

//off-topic: Try the free "Keka" archiving app. Works like a charm.
And don't forget to rename (use "enter" when the file is selected of slow double-click) "CakeByTheOcean_.ns2pb" to "CakeByTheOcean_.zip".

Thanks so much WannitBBBad for providing me the 'unbundled' files, and others for your responses. I didn't know I could compress and uncompress, and to add to this, something is amiss and I keep getting the same result, the uncompression just goes back to the *.ns2pb - now I know its not the permissions on the file, but something most likely with my MAC. I'm using macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I have tried some of the apps while troubleshooting but the same result. I'm asking some outside sources to help me since I want to be able to do this from time to time. so frustrating, but taking little steps. THANKS!

If you rename the file to a .zip ending, a double-click will unzip it.

Unzip functionality has been part of Apple‘s Mac operating system for decades now.

Unless you’re still on a Mac OS from the 1990‘s the only way for unzipping to NOT work automatically is if you’ve installed a different tool to handle it, and that’s broken.

(Works fine by default on iOS as well ever since the OS version that introduced the „Files“ app — when was that, 2019?)
