Hello everyone,
I'm new here. I have recently purchased a Piano 4 and am really pleased with it. I replaced the standard 3 pedal unit with a single (sustain) pedal. However, the rubber damper has fallen out and disappeared, so now it's quite clunky as the metal moving pedal part hits the plastic base. Does anyone know where you can buy replacement rubber dampers in the UK or elsewhere??
Many thanks in advance!
Matt

Re: Sustain pedal - rubber damper
If you know what the rubber damper looked like you can probably find a suitable replacement at a big box hardware store. Not sure why you would have “replaced” the triple pedal but if you still have access to it, try it. The triple pedal’s sustain triggers some samples you can’t get in your single pedal. Good luck.

Re: Sustain pedal - rubber damper
Hi, it would be helpful to know the type of sustain pedal, can you let us know?

Re: Sustain pedal - rubber damper
Thank you for your responses. Good points. I still have the three-peddle unit, but don't use the two left-hand pedals, so the single pedal makes more sense for gigs. It is the Nord single standard piano sustain pedal. Here's the link: https://www.gak.co.uk/en/nord-sustain-pedal/922188.
The rubbers off my three-peddle unit don't fit, and they're quite a specific shape, so not sure anything else would fit, except the standard part.

Re: Sustain pedal - rubber damper
I would replace it with a "standard" round shaped adhesive rubber pad (or felt pad, like the ones used for chairs and furniture), choosing the right size or close enough (in excess then cutting it to fit, even if not perfect) and maybe stacking 2-3 of them till the needed height
