Recovering Piano Sound with it's synth sound/s?
Recovering Piano Sound with it's synth sound/s?
In loading many xl piano sounds I had to delete some Synth sounds to recover memory. I now realise that some piano sounds have related synth sounds. Is there a way to find out what synth sounds I need to recover Or do I just need to delete that piano sound and reload it?

Piano and Synth sounds (samples) go into different parts of the memory, so you should never delete samples (synth sounds) in order to make room for more piano sounds. That also means you should be able to get them back again.
I'm not sure which Nord you have, but as far as I remember, if you use the Nord Sound Manager, the NSM, (as you have been doing already) it's possible to go through the list of all the programs and see which of them are missing some underlying samples or pianos.
Otherwise you can just restore your instrument completely, if you want, by loading the factory settings (also using the NSM) and then only delete or swap piano sounds.
