I am awaiting delivery, so pardon my ignorance. I want to have a left hand bass split, with a right hand full range piano layered with pad/strings. Hence, three voices.
I know there are two engines, Pianos and samples. Will the piano library have layered piano-pads and piano -strings to combine with a decent bass sample? On my MODX I play upright bass up to c3, piano across the entire range, with velocity strings. Can the Piano 4 do this? Or am I limited to 2 sounds?

Re: Piano 4 splits and layer questions
As you said you only have 2 engines, so... there are a few layered pianos in teh Nord Piano Library but they are only EPs https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... ballad-ep1
NP4 is a "pure" digital piano with the added Synth Section, comparing it to a workstation like the MODx is pears vs apples. Don't expect to be able to do the same things and you'll be on the safe side

Re: Piano 4 splits and layer questions
Thanks, I am fine with two engines. Rare that need Bass and strings at the same time. It's all about the piano really.
