I also thought at first that it might be a problem with some settings or with the pedal. But as you see in my video the display shows that the function itself works fine, it seems that only the controlling of the LEDs around the Level knob is somehow faulty.

In the mean time, have you tried changing this to a different pedal type and see what happens?

One other idea - I'm not a NP5 user, so just a possibility based on other Nords. Is there a system menu to select the pedal type? Perhaps this needs to be toggled to the Yamaha FC type?
Nords: NE2, NS2 88, NS3 Compact x 2
Live rig: NS3, Vent, Radial KL-8, Shure PSM-900 IEM Rig, UE18 & UE7 IEMs.
Studio: Hammond A-101 & Leslie 122, Yamaha CP-80, Yamaha S90, NS2, DSI Prophet-6, Vent II, Roland JX-8P.

It happens with every pedal setting and on both the piano and synth section.
The % value in the display is correct and corresponds to the pedal.

Seems to be a bug.

Does that happen with all morphs? If so, the pot in the FC7 might be defective or dirty or it could be a short in the cable.
Well, as you can see there are two different NP5 users noticing the same strange behavior. I only checked it with the piano section, will do a test later with the synth section, too.
My FC7 works flawlessly with my Stage 3 Compact.
Yes, two NP5 users are experiencing the same symptoms.
It seems to be an OS version error

The same bug exists in other pedal and synthesizer menus in NP5.
