Nord piano 5 led buttons
just got the piano 5 and iv noticed it didnt have rhe latest update so having the electro6 i knew this simple procedure. To my dismay when rhe download finished on the oled sisplay it said VERSION ERROR, so i went into the Nord website and down system restore from the latest v1.16 to the previous v1.14.. it took over 45 mins to restore but when it finishes i was happy to notice the VERSION ERROR went But the restore did not happen as rhe version shown on the keyboard is rhe latest ( v1.16). That did not bother so much as the keyboard was playing normal BUT then iv noticed certain buttons like the layering buttons A and B works BUT does not lit hence making it difficult to control and set. Also certain buttons like the detune i cant swich off..... is the keyboard faulty or it needs another restore? Pls help me as in my country the agent is not very technical and all he would do is ship it back... thks paulG

Hello Paul, I suggest to re-download the latest NP5 OS from the web (1.16) as a new file (in case the one you have is corrupted) and retry to do the update with it.

Iv downloaded the latest Np5 update all ok now EXCEPT the layer buttons A and B on both engines ( the piano and the synth ) are not lit and cant get them to light but the buttons work. Still its a difficult situation to determine which layer is active.... could it be led lights?

you received a brand new instrument. If ever it takes some more days to get decided whether you'll send it in or try to get everything all right on your own (which I think you shouldn't), send an info to Clavia, the national distributor and the vendor including a documentation of your problem (video) and ask for help! Which you should do anyway.
If it's in the middle of the Mediterranian Sea or not.

white piano sound

Hi i got the piano 5 and its a great tool to gig for mainly jazz gigs. Now yesterday my grand arrived and uts a beautiful instrument with a great Kawai keybed.. my question, having gone tru the Nirdkeyboard website and into the White piano page which is my fav sound there is a side note to update the OS, but my grand is already with the latest update, Was there a fine tuning on the White Grand pls?
