Nord Piano 2 HA vs Nord Piano 5 / Action

Postby agustinfs » 22 Sep 2022, 17:54

Hi,

I've been learning to play the piano for the past year with a jazz teacher. She uses a Nord Piano 5 73. I find the Piano 5's action to be very confortable and nice. How is that action compared to the one in the Nord Piano 2 88? (Hammer Action version)
I'm expecting a good weighted action for piano playing.
I found a good deal on the second and was planning on investing on a good keyboard for the next years.

:thanks:

NP2 has the 2 contacts sensor, triple sensor was introduce from NP3; NP2 has a TP40 keybed like NP5 so mechanical schema is the same, but 2 sensors and I don't know what weight (L/M/H or GH) was used, guess it was a M. Best would be for the OP (augustinfs) to try it personally before buying.

I sold my NP2 in 2014, so going on memory. But the NP5 88 I played and which will be delivered on Monday, played MUCH better then the NP2. Sounds better/ smoother too.
