Is it possible to put together patches/sounds/whatever-they-are-called-in-Nord-land on a Nord Grand, save them off, and then restore them into similar slots on a Nord Piano 4?
By "patches" I mean "use the White Grand and Soft Pad 1 sounds on their respective banks, and set volume levels, etc. the same way I have them programmed on particular banks".
I have a NP4 at the church where I play, and like it a great deal. I'm thinking of getting something at home so I can lay out what I want and then load it on the NP4 as needed. It seems obvious that a NP4 would do the job perfectly well but based on what I see/read on the Grand I'm thinking hard about buying a NG if I can move the patches over.
(And just to be complete, as best I can tell it's impossible to move patches from a NP/NG to a NS3. If I am wrong I'd love someone to tell me.)

Re: Nord Grand / Piano 4 Compatability
The best bet is to have your Nord Dealer communicate with Nord about that one. Nord does have a contact us page on their website but Nord/Clavia prefers dealers communicating on their behalf. I think most of us here do not want to steer you wrong on that. I think it will work transferring patches via the Sound Manager. I just got my NG recently so I am the wrong/last person who should answer that question.
Nord Grand (Yes, I would buy a new one if it was stolen!), iMac 2017, Sennheiser 650, Steinway Model A, Mason and Hamlin Model AA, Piano Marvel: 3D
Re: Nord Grand / Piano 4 Compatability
I did some searching and I can't find anything on that either. I think HwyStar has the best suggestion.
They both use the same version of Sound Manager but there's no guarantee that even if the file extension is the same that the structure of the file is the same between instruments. You also have the added difficulty of having different amounts of memory between the two so any backup or bundle file (assuming they did work cross instrument) would have to comply with the instrument with the lower amount of memory, the NP4. If you find a definitive answer, I'd be glad to know what you find out.
