Interesting, I have the opposite feeling. I have a Kawai CN27 with RHIII action as my home "piano".
To me, it's WAAAY heavier than the FATAR TP40 in my Stage2. Actually, heavier than most real acoustic pianos I played in my life.
That doesn't mean it's unresponsive, it has a wonderful dynamic range and you can play it very fast...but you have to work for it!
Actually that's the reason I chose it over a Clavinova which tend to have more forgiving keybed. After decades of playing only portable pianos and unweighted actions, I was feeling that my technique and finger strength was really degrading. So I deliberately chose a demanding keybed that would force me to re-learn proper technique and rebuild finger strength.
Of course, these are my personal feelings and anyway they may or may not apply to the Nord Grand, depending on how much the action has been modified.
